SMC's food and agribusiness units make animal feed, Coconut oil, dairy and meat products the scope of this Project is to capture the Sales and Marketing processes and data warehouse to maintain client’s history and current data. DataFrom Operational Source System was extracted, transformed and loaded into data warehouse
Responsibilities:
- Developed Master detail, drill through and rank reports by using report studio.
- Created Daily backups by using Cognos Connection

7Eleven is one of the largest retail companies operating in Malaysia. It manufactures and distributes a wide variety of retail products. This is designed for the purpose of sales analysis that basically helps the decision makers to analyze the sales. This system helps to keep track the impact of advertising and other promotion on sales. It is also used to test the effects of pricing changes and varying media weights on local markets. It can compare today’s sales results to those of previous year, as well as compare results among chains, geographic regions, and products down to the brand level.
Role& Responsibilities:
- List Reports, Cross-tab Reports and Drill-through Reports.
- Created reports using cascading prompts.
- Created various types of reports Developed for various user levels.
- Queried from different database tables as per the requirement.

Marketing strategies are based on built purchasing of slow selling, first quality merchandise and reselling these goods at discount prices. Suppliers store products until they are ordered. Reporting requirements are many and diverse and include standard accounting, sales, financial, marketing and inventory.
